The Product Categories tab under Product Management lets you manage categories of products that are visible in the POS interface. To navigate to the screen below from the Home in RentItBiz, click on Products>Product Management and click on the Product Categories tab.
A Product Category can be a “root” (or parent) category or a sub-category that refines a root category. A top-level category will have a parent category of "Root."
For example, you might define Retail, Rental, and Tours as root categories. Bike Rental and Boat Rental might be your sub-categories of the root Rental category. When you define Bike Rental, you attach it to the Rental product category.
