To set up a Promo code for the online reservation system, Go to the Products List and press New. Set the Product Type to Coupon and set the name to whatever you like. The two important fields are the SKU and Site Visibility. The SKU will be the code that the customer types into the online system so you enter the code in this field. Under Site Visibility you only have to check the Online Visibility box. The promo code can only be used online but you can use it as a regular coupon button by making it visible to the POS. After setting these press save.
The pricing tab works the same as with a coupon button on the POS. Set if the price is percentage or flat rate. The coupon will be applied to any product it shares the Coupon Categories with so move the category to the right hand side if you want it to apply to those items. Remember to save after making changes.
