To Set Static IP on Verifone P400 please follow the step below. **It is recommended you have your IT Person perform this Function.
1. On Home Screen, Press 1-5-9 at the same time.
2. Press Control Panel
3. Press Sysmode
4. Press Supervisor
5. Enter 1668321
6. Press Administration
7. Press Communications
8. Press Ethernet
9. Press eth0
10. The Top Drop Down, Mode: Choose Static (See Picture 1)
11. Enter your Network Info, including Static IP in rows below. (See Pictures)
*Easiest to copy Data from DHCP and use for Static Settings. (Use # to Choose Character Type)
12. Press the Status Button (Top Row) - Right hand side (Picture 1) A Pop Up will Appear
asking to Save Changes: Yes
If Status Button turns Green, the data you entered is correct.
13. Press Red X Key, A Pop will Appear asking to configure another Interface, Press No.
14. Press Red X button 2 times to Screen with Information on top row.
15. Press Exit then Reboot.
